This program works pretty well.

Works excellent for me. I highly recommend it too. And! If you can find an older version then all it needs is a serial.

This is all you need:

Ad-Aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/)

Download, install, run. When it shows you a list of all the spy and ad software on your system, nuke it all.

Enjoy 0 popups, and a more stable system. Run it every month or 2.

I have Norton as well and I don't get pop ups either, but that xupiter crap some how hides in my computer, I check for it and other stuff like that every so often.

I find Norton to be the best. Costs a bit of cash, but it really works!

Norton blocks the popups, but the spyware/scumware are programs running on your computer, generating them. So you're basically slowing down your computer by a) creating the popups, then b) killing them. Better to remove the creators all together in the first place.

Adaware should be on every persons computer. :banghead:
