I'm thinking of getting a Toyota Yaris and then do some external mods ... Any Yaris owner here thought about getting some JDM bodykits?
Check out this link: Toyota Japan Vitz Accessories (http://toyota.jp/customize/vitz/index.html)
Can these even be imported here? Are they legal?

P.S. I'm sure Rage2 has looked into these for his. Anything you care to share, Rage?

What an awkward looking car.. For some reason I think it's cool.. but don't know why.

wow nice kit!
I wonder if there's any shop in Calgary that carries this kind of kit for the Yaris.

i wouldnt count on it, probably a special order item, and you would have to find a shop you trust to make a kit like that fit well

I'm looking into a combination of the ings+1 as well as the C-one kit. Here's pics of the C-One.

There are resellers of both kits out of the US, but I'll prob get Speedtech to source mine. There's a lot of modifications needed to fit the front and rear bumpers, because of our rebars... the JDM cars are about an inch shorter front and rear than our Canadian 5d's. Until I figure everything out regarding the install, I'm holding off on it. At this point I've got everything installed except the kit.

Also, don't get the 3d, there's no kits for the 3d since it's north american only. All the cool kits are for the 5d.

Oh ya, one other thing about the ings+1 and c-one kits. It's a full front bumper, side skirts, and 2 small pieces at the end of the rear bumper. Those are designed for the JDM rear bumper, which means you'll need to buy that before the kit works.

Yikes ... sounds like a big investment on a $21K car (probably costs half of that just to get the kit on) :nut:

Ya, I've spent over 1/3 of the cost of the car on mods already. That's what happens when you mod a cheap car!

There is no turbo kit for the yaris yet. I'm thinking of buying the AEM FIC and figuring out the wiring and doing my own.
