View Full Version : How much are GSR's actually worth??

Hey guys,

Looking at GSR's and the price range is so jumpy I have no idea what they're worth. I see 96's for 10000 and 2001's for 13000. What's the deal? What are these things actually worth? Kilometers are comparable on both years yet price is so shot. These things almost seem out to lunch for asking price.

People want to make some cash off any car, this seems to double or triple with integra's

They're nice cars, don't get me wrong, and 13 grand on a 2001 would probably be reasonable, as long as the kms aren't too high, just don't let somebody trick you into paying that for an older one, the market is full of integra's so wait for the right deal.

ive seen 95's for as low as 4500, and 95's with more kms and body damage for close to 8
the market for them is messed up
but if anyone has one for 5kish lying around... i need a winter car

According to Acura, only one out of 15 Integra's sold was a gsr model. I wouldn't call it rare, but there are less of them than other models.

They are worth whatever you'll pay for one. Since there are so many around, you will see a lot of variance between them as some are in bad shape while others still look great. Try and get a 1998+ model, they are far nicer and less prone to have rust at their age.

10,000 to 13,000 isn't that much of a price range

But he's also talking about year range from a 96 to an 01.

yea i sold my 95 integ for 4500, the funny thing is the buyers still felt like they were getting ripped and tried to make me throw in an extra tire instead of the spare in the back. haha i would've gave it to them if they didn't come back demanding a tire.

EDIT: btw it had about 175kms and if i was more patient i could have gotten 1-1.5 grand more for it.

to me an early gsr can be had for 8-9k, being a good price/decent condition and 14-15k, maybe even 16k if really low km for a 01...so i really don't see the issue

for 16k it better be a showroom condition GSR, or i would just go for the ITR

16k.........for a used integra..........:nut:

even a Type R.......I never understood the fascination behind the ITR, especially with what else is avialable on the market nowadays.

for a 94-97 gsr i'd pay no more than 8gs. 98+ probably 10-14k. Anymore and like mclaren said you can get yourself an ITR.

Can't get leather in an ITR ;) haha

My fascination with the ITR is the roots of it, sorta of the background design for it IMO. Logically, I wouldn't buy because there are better deals (hp/$) out there and newer cars too. But I would buy one cause I just damn love em.

As for the price, people try to add sentimental value to some cars, and others are greedy. I know i'll have a problem selling my civic eventually because I love my car way too much and will probably ask too much. But that's my problem, and i'll have to deal.

Bottom line is that a car is worth what someone is willing to pay.

Asking $15,000 for an '01 GSR wont get you many potential buyers but it takes just one person who loves that car and you might be able to snag $14,000 for it even though any other reasonable person would say thats overpriced.

Team_Mclaren
10-02-2007, 01:40 PM

No, you're thinking of "a civic hatch back like around the yearr 2000 with a gsr dropped"

Those are fastest!

Compare to other integras and yes they are rare. I think 1 out of 15 was a GSR. You can't compare super cars and exotics to integra's.

Why do I fail? You'll find more Ferraris in trader then you will GSR's but no, that's not rare.

Are you looking at buying one or selling one?

Revhard

Search the US, likely alot cheaper.
They are ok, but with all of the swap technology, I would get a lighter chassis. My rsx is heavy, and that makes it slow, even with 200hp.
I love my car, but lighter is always better, if you are not attached to the looks. They do look good.
No way would I pay 14,000, you can get rsx-s' for that in the US.

I wouldn't pay more than 8k for them...
