Best Gas and Electricity rates?

Has anyone recently looked into any deals with electricity and gas? I'm looking to save some money this winter, is EasyMax worth the 100 dollar savings?? :P

I think it is. You get to lock in your electricity rate which is what will possibly fluctuate greatly this winter.

The gas rate remains floating as it would if you remained with Direct Energy. This is not a concern right now as gas rates are not projected to go up anytime soon. But you get the $100 for doing this.

I'm not sure what the rate you get to lock in your electricity anymore. It used to be 7cents / kw but I heard it's 8 cents now.
