Computer Games - what are you playing?

I used to be stuck on Starcraft Broodwar,

but I started playing Vietcong. It's really fun and different from other 1st person games I've played.

I want to try Battle Field 1946.

CounterStrike every so often -- kinda getting boring... but the good ole` "Ice World" keeps me in tune...

Battlefield 1942 is a great game too... but sometimes I crave bigger and better weapons. So I play the Desert Combat mod to Battlefield. It's like the CounterStrike mod for HL.

used to play counter strike all the time but finally got sick of it. Right now occasionally playing some Battle field 1942- Road to Rome.. its one of the best game i've ever played.
also a little War craft 3 here and there.. still decidiing if i should get star war galaxy or not.

Grand theft auto: Vice city was fun, as was Max Payne and the Ghost Recon games.

Tempted to buy Asherons Call 2 when it comes out - haven't been hooked on one of those types yet.

Yah I wasn't really following the scene - just started the download for the 15 day trial (888 megs!). I must have been looking at a cached web page. :)

Khyron, Don't bother buying AC2... The game when I left was in bad shape and I believe from a few that just recently quit it's not much better. Go give SWG a try, although it has it's bugs it's a helluva fun game to play.

I have such a low attention span that video games don't interest me for more than a week, no matter how good they are, which is why I refuse to purchase anymore consoles!

However, I find myself playing Jedi Outcast II online every once in a while. Does anyone else play?

Wolverine's Revenge is kinda entertaining as well, although it's been a few weeks since I've played.

Other than that, it's all console emulators (when I have time)! :D

hey is it really fun?? i was so tempted to pick it up on the 26th, but i read some disgusting reviews, like half the content is missing, all the open space looks like its cut and paste, roll back for character but not for play time, missing vechicle and stuff, half the missions doesnt work, 70% of the time the guy for a certain missions doesnt even spawn, a lot of running. etc etc....

Rite now on my PC i'm playing Return to Castle Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory, its a free FPS DLd from the net......really fun Multi player game. I'm also playing BF: 1942, can't wait till the expansion "secret weapons" or sumthin like that comes out!!!:clap:

If you could take UO (still the best mmorpg out there), pop in some wookies, and put in better graphics than AC2 is what u get out of SWG.

There's just so much to do and the mechanics behind the game is just amazing with the fighting, crafting, mining, etc.

Yes the content lacks, but hopefully SOE learns from Turbine's mistake and works on it ASAP. There are bugs, but none that makes the game unplayable. As with any mmorpg there are balancing issues. The lag is good.

Battlefield 1942 with desert combat mod is my favorite. I love flying the helicopters (easy kills lol).

Also playing recently Midnight Club 2 on PC. :thumbsup:

GTA Vice City for the PC - Starting to get bored with it.

Morrowind - I got it with my video card a while ago and I just opened it and have been play for a week or two. Very Large Game, Descent graphics.

Anybody wanting to play a Beyond game of Battlefield, I'm all in for it. I don't belong to any clans are that kind of crap, but I rated at my highest point on BFstats.com in the top 6%. I haven't played alot lately because I have been golfing. :thumbsup:

Just make sure u have 512MB of ram (1GB would be better). Minimum GF4 Ti4200 (don't get an MX, not the same) and probably either an Athlon 2000+ or P4 2.4 and you should be fine.

The bizarre thing is I find I don't enjoy racing games that much. Being able to go to the track and do the same thing has kind of taken the realism and enjoyment of the experience out of racing games for me.
