View Full Version : 4th Year in Highschool???

Are you allowed to take a 4th Year of High School in Calgary. Well mainly Strathmore. I might be moving down there and becuse of a previous move i was not able to finish my grade 12. I just need 2 courses. I know in Edmonton you have to go to "Center High" I was just wondering if Calgary or Strathmore is the same.

You have to take like 3-4 classes to be able to take another year of High School i believe.

You can always try Vicount.

Isn't there also an age limit too? Like if you turn 19 or 20 during the semester, you won't be able to attend a regular high school and go to whatever Viscount is called now.

Well i would not mind taking more course, like PE and just stupid stuff. But what i really wanna know is can i go to Strathmore High even if it will be a 4th year

i think you have to go to some other school to finish it.. Chinook college?

I know some people at Francis that are in 'Grade 13'. It's hard to get in though. You need to meet with Administration.

yes, you can because that was what i did!
i mean you only turn 18 so you pass the age limit so is all depend on the school.Some schools allow you to stay one more year but it is all their decision!
But if you only need 2 courses, i would suggest you take summer school or just go to chinook college!
