:thumbsdow I unfortunately had to learn the hard way: you really do get what you pay for. Of course, my wallet and my gf don't seem to agree with me on buying quality (and usually expensive) items.

EDIT: Unless of course your whole intent on buying the muffler is to wake up your neighbours anytime you start your car at night or just like to lose horsepower (unless you're using it in a turbo'd racing application), then go right ahead.

Look at the summit racing website, they have some good mufflers. You will usually get screwed by an eBay seller, through shipping costs and what not, i would use a company. And its almost the same price, maybe a little more, but totally worth it.

pay the money for a good muffler. I too had to find out the hard way ( Cheap Ractive muffler = very loud)

Yah...that muffler would be a ticket magnet thats for sure, loud as hell guaranteed. Get a nice quality muffler, thats from a known company, then you wont be disappointed.

Yeah i went down this route in my early days. dont do it. Mine was way to loud, was made out of the cheapest metal, and the trip came all bent.

yeah you have to be careful with mufflers from ebay. Alot of them do not come with any type of baffeling. so its pretty much just an empty can which makes it stupid loud.

If you don't want to spend a big pile of cash but want something that will last and sound good just get a dynomax super turbo. I did on mine and it's just fine. Looks fine, sounds good, flows great. What more do you need? Who gives a shit about a full S/S body if you only see the tip?

Around $100

Why? How much did you buy her for?

i think i had a winter beater with a muffler like that...and i think straight piping would be just as quiet. ;)

people would always make fun of me because they could really hear me coming...from kilometers away.

How about this item? it says it "use stainless steel wool with densely packed double layered rockwool which reduces back pressure to increase horsepower while reducing excessive noise."

If it's noise you're looking for then go for it.
