Calgary Flames 2007-2008 HDTV Schedule

Last year, we only got 10 games in HD. This year, things are looking really good, with 19 games already available to us in HD, and not all the schedules have been announced yet! Once all the schedules are out, I'm expecting to see at least another 10-20 games, so we will potentially have 1/3 to 1/2 of all flames games in HD this year! :clap:

I'm including US networks in my list, because as evident by last year, those broadcasts do show up if you have an out of market Bell NHL Center Ice package. That and I'm sure there's a lot of grey market subs here that have access to the channels.

I'll continue to update this list as I get more updates. So far HDNET and FSNHD schedules are incomplete. I have yet to see the schedule for CSN or NESN, which are both available on DirecTV with MPEG4 equipment.

Side note: HDNET doesn't Shaw have it now? I know it's channel 220/221 on the HD-PVR at home.

Yes, but HDNET Canada does not have rights to NHL games, so they show something else here. NHL rights only apply to HDNET USA.

So regular shaw cable with CBC and TSN HD will get you 12 HD Flames games :thumbsup:

Decent.... better then last year. Wonder if any Flames games will be shown on Shaw's Center Ice in HD?

Updated with Sportsnet2 HD dates up to Dec!

So far this year, the flames have played 12 games, 7 have been in HD.

6 HD games in Nov and 8 HD games in Dec, not counting last minute additions on center ice.

What a great year for Flames hockey! So far I've seen more HD games than not! That'll continue until year's end at a minumum.

Sportsnet has SNHD2 and SNHD3 now on Bell... so expect more flames games being added to the HDTV schedule shortly. For those that have caught the SNHD games, you may have noticed there's no timers and scoreboard on the broadcast. Sportsnet says that should be on there by the next few games, they're still working out the kinks in their HD broadcast systems.

HDNet added the last game (Flames @ Wild), and tonight's Colorado game will be available on Altitude (for those lucky enough to get it hehe) and most likely on Center Ice HD (again, those lucky enough to get it).

Including tonight's game, that's 9/15 games in HD so far!
