300zx alternator

I recently bought a jdm 300zx tt and it needs a new alternator. i was wondering if the north american 300zx has the same alternator as the jdm spec 300zx, thanx. Also if you have a 300zx alternator for sale or know where one is please pm me.

Yes same alternator, and the TT one puts out a bit more current than the NA.

Get ripped off @ the stealership, or order one through Autovalue for $250

15 minute job. Have fun!

*EDIT*
I should have mentioned... while you're in there, look at the high pressure power steering line. You might have ATF (yes the Z32 uses ATF for steering, NOT PS fluid) dripping from a leak in the hoze onto your alt.

Very common problem TBH, if you fix the alternator but not the hoze you'll just burn out another one.

or, get the one out of there, take it to alberta alternator and starter depot and get it rebuilt for 70$
