Hi I am 17 years old and I drive a 1990 240sx. I was wondering if any of you could assist me with what company to go with, I am looking for a insurance company that I can pay at the price range of $1000-2000/YR. I have a clean driving record and I've had my license for a year now.
Thanks

Well if things now are anything like they were before...

When I moved to AB at the age of 20 I was paying 5600/year for PL/PD on a 1985 cavalier.

they change the system i believe, new driver are on grid levels and the diffrence between companies aren't the dramatic, i pay 1800/yr for basic pl/pd on 89 colt turbo, and it was the same price for my 97 firefly

What's your driving record like? That's super high (I think)

My driving record now, although i genreally drive bouncing off the governor down the highway, is squeaky clean. When I turned 25 my rate dropped big time, im paying 65/month for car insurance and my tenants insurance

Now Before I had a speeding ticket and an accident over 4 years accident at 16, speeding ticket at 17

In BC I was paying 1200/year at the time.....
