This car was brought up to Canada by a close family friend who worked down in Arizona and came back to Canada for his summer holidays. At the end of the summer he moved back to Arizona for business reasons and did not have enough time or space to take this back with him. Car is on vancouver Island but can be driven to Calgary if the offer is right!

2004 Audi A4 1.8 Turbo. 5 Speed manual transmission. Black on black leather, Tinted all round, and all options.

This is a stunning perfomance sedan, recently imported from Arizona - one owner, always garage kept and has never seen rain. Complete books and records since new.
There has been aftermarket performance equipment by Evolution Motorsports (www.evoms.com). Upgrades include a K04 turbo upgrade, High flow intercooler, MILTEK S.S exhaust, 380cc injectors all of which was installed on the car 18 months ago.

58,000 Miles.

Based on what the OP has posted, not including the mods and not discounting the fact this is a US car, the offer isn't too far off. Black book would be even lower and the fact the car is in not in Alberta.

Flame me if you want, but no one with any car sense would pay anywhere near the asking price for this car without a few gold bricks in the trunk.

The car is fully registered and licenced in BC, which has way stricter guidelines than AB. I am from Calgary, and would definately drive the car out there if there is somebody that is seriously interrested in the car. These mods were all done proffessionally and I do have all the paper work to prove this. As far as licencing and registration goes it is very easy to get this up and running in Alberta. 28k?

...and non-quattro.

why should the car be discounted because it is american? It is from arizona which automatically means that there is no rust and the chances are that it has never been driven in the rain. I dont see this a reason to discount the price of the car? The car is nearly four years old and in perfect condition inside and out, there is not a single flaw. You can see how well the car has been looked after by looking at how clean the engine bay is! It looks like it has just gotten off the production line!

First, I am sure the car is in perfect condition like you say it is, I am not questioning that.

I would only discount an American car because you are trying to sell for Canadian prices. For the CAN$30K that you are asking for your car, you can probably find a 05 or even 06 A4.

Here is an example, why would I buy your car for $28K+ when I can probably get this landed here in Calgary for about the same price.

This one has less kms, 2 years newer, is the S-line, etc. I know yours has mods and stuff but as a lot of people know in this forum, mods do not add full value of them to the car. A lot of people may not want them.

If you want to sell an American car, then you better align your prices in the same range. Even if this was a Canadian car, no one would buy if for that price here. I'll bet that dealer trade-in (blackbook) value is no more than $15K.

I am not necessarily trying to attack you or preventing you from selling your car, I'm just letting you know information.

Excuse the ignorance.. but where did you get your exchange rates from? the dollar is at 1.05 today i believe... first time it broke the dollar since the 17th of jan or something. so even if it were 14-16 k american.. it would be 14-16k canadian.. then all the costs of transporting it up and fees and tariffs at the border. I understand why you think the price is too high, hence i am open to offers, but i do not believe that this car should sell for anything around the 17k mark, it just doesnt make sense!

they're right... your audi isn't worth more than 20k... and that's even pushing it badly

no one is going to buy this car, lets just stop arguing in this thread (and cluttering beyond) about asking price and let this guy sit on his audi forever (or at least till it drops to 16k)
