Just curious, how hard is it to install an O2 sensor? I have a 94 GSR and I need a new O2 sensor. I went to the dealership they quoted me 390 with install. I looked around and I found that a new O2 sensor cost around $100. I don't know if I should try to install it myself or get it professionally done.

Screw off old one, screw on new one. Oh and unclip old harness, clip in new harness.

The only thing that might be tough is getting the old o2 off. Sometimes they're a SOB to get off. Unless you wanna buy the Snap-on o2 tool

depends on where it is too..is it your rear o2 sensor or your front one. Either way, its screw out, screw in, DONT TOUCH the element on teh new one. dont touch teh part that sticks into the exhaust at all...itll get wrecked

I got a brand new Bosch O2 sensor for $70 from Kingsway Automotive. Took me 7 minutes to install it. Google it. You unscrew it, unplug it and put the new one in.

It might make it easier if the manifold is warmed up a bit. Idle the car until it's warmed up and give it a shot. An O2 sensor socket is definately helpful, I think I got mine from Autovalue or something like that.
