Is there any outstanding debt?

What have the yearly revenues/expenses been over the past 4 years?

What is left on the lease? 1 year with 5 option?

Is the landlord willing to renegotiate the lease?

very true. when some1 puts alot of tme and effort as in good customer service and the best quility achievable any kind of business will work and make money. alot of prefs lack these skills and it shows in sales and quility.

What sort of training would be involved?

arabian_ryda
10-11-2007, 07:29 PM
not sure. but the most extreme would be 2 weeks in calgary at another store but that wouldnt be a problem for some1 ont this board.

when i took over i didnt get any training but the owners of the other juice place here in town had to do 2 weeks in calgary. so it depends.

this place is so easy to run it will suprise u.

ok just to clear up some facts here........

this is a owner operator business u cant just put employees and walk away.

this store was previous abandoned and was closed for 1 month(NOV last year)by the previous owner so it lost all its customers so thats when i came in and got the work back up to par but it took a couple months to do so. it has been making money ever since and the business has been better then any other year.

actly its a family or couple type of business. thats whats really made theses stores take off in the last couple of years. after all who puts forward the best service and product? the owners themselves of course.

if your looking for a business where you do shit all and just stick 2-3 teenages there and call it a day expecting to make money good luck finding a business like that and if u do it aint goin very far.

this places has been on a good run every since spring and it dosnt show any sign of decline. this was acheived without the patio being used as i was to late in the session to set it up and without the use of the salad bar. it could also use some better signage out front. theres so much room for advancment its scary.

In theory hiring a manager is simple but in practice its not... in a big store like a mcdonalds if someone quits, someone else takes his position. Theres more than enough money to go around. In a small store like the above establishment there is not enough revenue to pay a manager and employees and still have enough money to take home.. also, theres a reason mcdonalds cost well over a million dollars... this guy is only asking $60 000. You get what you pay for!

a 3 story sobeys and the tallest building in edmonton is being built across the street from me. they also just finished the University building at the end of the block across the street. there is a second cup, sushi express, kabsa and 2 cafes next to me so the block is well know for food and drinks.

to clear things up i want 60,000 to my pocket all said and done. it is currently a private sale.
