newb question...I'm running a stock R6 rear wheel...stock tire size is 180/55 17...would the 190 fit? or would it hit the fender...

Don't put a 190 on your 6, only a 180.

well i work at a motorcycle dealership and that is what we would put on a r6 so i dont see why it wouldnt fix it would just be a little bigger its the same a putting a 100 or a 110 tire on the back wheel of a 125cc dirtbike they both match

It will fit fine, you're just not going to like how the bike turns after that.
good price btw.

I'm not sure about the stock sizes on the front anymore, but I had a certain shop put a larger front tire on my bike and it ended up hitting the front fender.

yea but the rear is almost the same size as the the stock so its doesnt make that much of a difference

Yes it does...it completely changes the profile of the tire. Unless you know something Yamaha doesn't, stick with a 180.
