View Full Version : Cool office decor?

Bored on a Friday at work. Just looking around my office, I noticed that I dont have any ''pieces of flare'' in my work space. Was thinking about a plant or something to liven the place up. I have like 14ft ceilings, but figured a basketball hoop would not be very professional. Anyone have any funky items that make good conversation pieces...or other office appropriate decor like plants, art, desktop items.

this isn't really "decor" related... but I felt like being a goof today at work...

I have a can of silly string in my desk... and when someone walks in to my office and seems to be in a bad mood... i spray them with silly string.

The majority of my coworkers are in there mid to late 50's... and fortunately have a very good sense of humour!

EDIT: Get yourself a huge indian statue like the one Kramer sold in Seinfeld... or one like you would usually see at old school smoke shops!

Thanks....now to find out where to get life size mannequins. Think I should hang a flying batman from the ceiling. Asides from carboard celebrities...what do people have in their offices. Anyone have those mini waterfalls or fishes inside the offices (not in the waiting room)

I have a tv, dvd, Wii, bed, lazy boy, and couch in my office. But I also work 48 hours straight. I also think there is so helicopter landing strobes somewhere.

You should definately have something alive (fish or a plant) in the room...really helps make the room more comfortable and not so cold...

I think my clients would look at me awkward, haha. As it is, I look much younger than i am. If I could...I would have a couple exotic car models, but again...i need to project professionalism. Now the question is go the active route with the waterfall/fish tank...or try the passive approach with a plant. Think...what would liven up an office at a bank.
