It was kinda funny. I was goin to stix last night and tried to turn into the parking lot and my wheel fell off! Well it was actually the ball/ CV joint. To top it off the cops called me on my cell and it cost me $100 to tow my car less than a block while i figure out what im gonna do with it. I will up load some pics later.

My car was just off richmond road by the mac's where stix is. I didnt even get a chance to drive into the parking lot it was in the middle of the road blocking taffic. The cops where pretty funny about it too, It wasen't the XSI, it was the winter Integra.

None that i know of yet. Although i did kinda come to a stop on the front left corner and a part of the suspension was holding a bit of the car up, lol. If it isnt too much to fix i think i might keep it

Its not the axle it is the ball joint that broke.
Just to clarify...

That clunking you have been hearing for the last 6 months?

You now know the source.

How in the FUCK can people let their shit get so bad that a BALLJOINT Separates???

Oh, I know, People are more worried about bouncing shit off the rev limiter, and looking cool.

Oh totally, as soon as it happened i knew what the issue was. As for letting it get that bad. The car was in an accident about 2 or 3 years ago and it just went down from there, 390,xxx kms it was only time something happened. So.... there's no reason to be a dick!:D

so the balljoint didn't give you and sign of fault or warning before the incident??

gah...this sucks man!! glad you are alright though!

Good thing it didn't happen on Deerfoot or something..

My dad lost a wheel/axle off his truck once. Said it was pretty damn scary.

please people, to be safe, if you hear clicking or clunking noises coming from the car when you're turning... CHECK THE CV BOOTS FOR RIPS OR CUTS...

And they make that noise for a LONG time before they actually FAIL.
