daytime running lights?

so my EG-6 came from tokyo finally. I need daytime lights for it to pass the oop.

How can i do it? any suggestions...

I used my fog lights as daytime running lights.

Just splice a wire into the wires for your foglights and connect that spliced wire to a 12V source that turns on when your ignition is on.... there should be a fuse box in your engine bay thats probably the easiest place to find a 12V source.

Go to Canadian tire and there is a $30.00 kit you can buy.. It takes all of 10 min to install and worked great for me.

Do you think this can work on a 2005 X5?

No it will not work on a 2005 x5 you will get errors. U have to go to bmw and get them to turn it on with their computer. U can also go to Shenis auto trend as he is the only other one in calgary with the bmw computer as far as i know. For the newer bmws its programing that has to be switched. NOT wiring
