I would like to know what is your favorite car manufacturer. Now I can't cover all the makes, but I will try to get all of the major ones.

Mitsubishi... all about the Lancer Evo's, and Monterro Sports for those African Dessert Races.

But BMW is sweet as well, M3's and M5's but also those engines they make for the Lemanns 24 hour race and the for the F1 circuit.

Yeah, lately Nissan has been coming out with some great cars. But they pissed me off by completely changing the skyline in japan. Cuz the skyline is now the equivalent of the infiniti G35 coupe.:banghead: I love the G35 coupe, but its just not quite the R34 we all love so much.

Yes, I left out Kia. they do not have a high perfornance car. And sorry to you Mitsubishi guys, there are only room for 10 choices on the poll and Mitsubishi is just starting to come to Calgary.

I'm a little old-fashioned but gotta say Mercedes all the way. I love all of them except for the ML. Runner Up: Nissan/Infiniti.

My favourite manufacturer? The hell kind of question is this? It's not very specific which is my main problem with this qustion. I like a bunch of cars from various manufacturers. I can't say I like just one, 'cause that would be ignorant of me. Just overall manufacturer? I'd say Honda (Acura) for their presence, quality, and pricing in so many different categories. Toyota (Lexus) second.

I love Audi & Porshce but I hate VW.

You missed a small auto group called DAIMLER-CHRYSLER. Then again, had you remembered them I bet you would have called them "Chrysler (Mercedes)." I don't like Chrysler, but the Dodge Viper is undeniably nice.

I also don't understand why you group BMW and Mercedes together.

I hate to say but this poll is dumb.

Will you stop mentioning the Viper every time you talk about your neon like you have some deluded little brother syndrome? They are not related... AT ALL! :D

If Viper owners knew that you were doing that, they'd rush over and kick your ass ;)

Porsche is not owned by VW. I am not sure why you grouped those together. Grouping Mercedes and BMW together is like grouping Ford and Chevy.

Whoa, you guys care WAY too much. I could only make 10 different choices for the poll so i just grouped some together because they are very similar. The only reason there are more now is because Ben changed it a bit. And I am sorry I didn't include chrysler, i did the poll at 12:30 the other night so my brain wasn't working at its full potential.
Most of you are such downers. Why don't you try saying something constructive rather than bashing everything that anyone else does. :guns:

If you don't like it, than make your own that is better, or just dont participate.

The only reason I am being so bitch is because I just crashed my car into a ditch and it needs extensive repairs.

I am not downing you or your post. You took the time to separate american car manufacturers, just wondering why you grouped some European ones together that don't belong together. I think you are getting unjustifiably defensive.

Once again, I wasn't downing anything. I think my post was constructive. It was aimed at making the poll better.

With the exception of my last sentence the rest of my post was constructive and useful towards making the poll better. Too bad about your car, hope you sort that out with as little stress as possible.

Not at all, but that's ok ;) W124 is the same body style as mine (300E-500E) .036 refers to the 500E model, and M119 is the 5.0L V8 in it (mine is an M103) The 560 has a different engine code and 560 SEC would start with W126.xxx

Hope that clarifies it a bit :)

If anything VW would own porsche, not the other way around (as VW is the 4th largest car company in the world), but still, no they dont. the two companies have close relations (sharing the cayanne/tourag platform), but they are indeed independent of each other

VW is a publicly owned company

Porsche is family owned with some public shares.

Porsche Engineering Services does design work for VW (and every other car builder on the planet). Porsche sometimes buys back cars, chassis (and parts) it has designed for VW: 914 924 Cayanne

As I said above, there are only 10 available chioces so it can't be perfect. Ben the moderator changed stuff around so that the Euro cars were all together.

I was considering it, but there are lots of people whop love mazda and hate ford, and vice versa.
