Just curious what some of you think of this new color that is going to be available for anyone ordering a 2003 SLK.

Not bad, they still look best in the white AMG variety though! :D

nice, but I would prefer a more aggressive color for the SLK.. this color is a bit too neutral.

An aggressive car demands an aggressive color.

Apparently I'm the only one that likes it. I think pearl white would look killer on that car too though :dunno:

That is a limited/special edition SLK, the wheels I think are from the c-coupe. I don't think they'll become the standard wheels for the SLK line.

The SLK isn't really an agressive car, more of a sunday open top cruiser for one to enjoy the sun.

Isn't that the color brilliant silver? If not is very close to billiant silver. :dunno:

I only like it if its shiney. That involves taking care of it though, which mean countless hours of detailling every month or so. It doesn't look good if you let the paint get dull.

Nope, the picture shows the new color which might be called "pewter" in North America. Its much darker than Brilliant Silver. Looks better than the Brilliant Silver IMO.

The color isn't that bad but imo a bit conservative not really outstanding and eyecatching as the other colors :)

My thoughts exactly, I think the color is aimed at the older conservative crowd.

Correction 13.6

I like that color a lot.
I think a dark grey looks really good on cars.

Nice color......But like a few have already stated, it's not an 'aggressive' shade. Is there any significant changes for 2003? Most likely that's not a color choice for the AMG right?

 it's not bad, but i think a slightly darker shade of the pewter color would look nicer. Its kinda like the color that the s2000 offers...:bigpimp:

I'm digging that color man!
I think it looks really nice, it reminds me of the desert metallic silver for the RSX?
