Anyone watching it? I'm not a big baseball guy, especially with the NHL and NFL taking up most of my time but how about those Rockies from the Mile High City?

21 out of 22 and into their first World Series. That is fucking crazy. The only team they lost to during that stretch was the DiamondBacks and they just swept them in 4.

I'm just wondering if the layoff is going to hurt them. It didn't in the NLCS. It would be awesome if they can run the table in the World Series too. A great story. :thumbsup:

I can't believe their run either, they had to win all those games to even get a chance at making the playoffs. All Arizona had their chance to knock them out of contention but couldn't and now they've got all winter to think about it.

World series doesn't start until next Wednesday, so a week long layoff is definitely a bad thing, especially in baseball where they don't have more than one day off at a time all season.

After the first two games of this series I kinda had a feeling they would sweep. Personally, i'd like to see a Boston v. Colorado world series. It'd be unbelievable if they could win 4 more straight to take the World Series though.

The Rockies are on quite the streak. They've been sitting idle for a while, but I think they'll make it a great series. They match offenses with the Bo Sox so its going to come down to pitching. And I think after Beckett, the sox staff is very overrated.

Also, the game one starter and team ace for the Rockies is Jeff Francis, who's from Vancouver B.C.

guy sox are setting world series records left right and center haha. rockies are done for....i cant believe im following this garbage, i hate baseball.

The BoSox are on fire. Averaging over 10 runs the past 4 games. Wow! They went from the perennial chokers to clutch performers. Coming back from 3-0 and 3-1 in their last two ALCS? Unreal!

Anyway, Beckett for MVP. Man is there a better big game pitcher?

Hate to say it but the Rockies are done. No way are they going to come back. Still a great story nonetheless. Wonder how they would have done if they didn't have so many days left? Clearly they have lost that precious momentum they had.
