This is actually last summer. I haven't raced since then.

I was just going home after cruising and this sweet black 300ZX TT pulls up beside me. He starts revving his motor a little. He challenged me two weeks prior but I had my mother in the car with me so I couldn't do anything.

He has all the BPU mods and two big bottles of giggle gas.

We head out to the perimeter and line up. We do a small burnout to clean off the tires.

I get him to count down. 3...2...1...GO!!

I slowly push the gas to the floor but its no use. Even with the Nitto DRs aired to 20psi I'm spinning like mad. I'm kicking myself for not taking some time out to install the Spohn LCAs, relocation brackets, and airbag sitting in my hatch.

He gets a good launch and has 1 car on me already.

I see the needle winding past 6300rpm and I grab second and shift at 6500rpm. (I have a 700R4 so I have to manually shift it to get it to shift at 6500rpm)

Tires still spinning. He has 2 cars on me.

Then I hook.

Reeling him in fast.

At the top of 2nd I pull ahead of him by half a car length.

Shift to 3rd and I've widened the gap to 3 car lengths. I stopped around 180 and had 4-5 cars on him.

We stop afterwards and shoot the shit. Very sweet car. Note the big bottles of giggle gas in the back seat.

Nice, I guess the Stang driver had a bad feeling about your car and that's why he took of early.

Thanx guys.

Its a 383 with a 3200 stall converter and a true dual exhaust conversion. (Heads, cam, pistons, rods, crank, the works) All naturally aspirated.

More details of it here: http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread.php?s=&threadid=17151
