i think we should have a music section , for ppl to share there latest songs / good techno ect,//// I know dtm power has a techno section and i absolutly love it tnx

Yeah good call, I used to post music all the time on Albertacars...Wouldn't mind doing it here if people thought it was a good idea...

Well the bandwidth would be a killer, so I doubt it'll happen anytime soon.

We could use a free host or something and then just link to the files?

How much space does ImageStation give you? If they don't allow .mp3 uploads, we can rename them to .jpgs and when you download them, just rename them and they will work.

not even use music, but even talk about whats new, bands comming to town, that sort of shit...we could (always have) use our own private hosting for the music

I would be VERY careful legally about MP3... companies have been fine for assiocating Downloads with it..... be safe the sorry.... but if its only talking about bands and such I don't see any harm in it.....

Why don't you just set up an FTP server so people can upload and download songs?

Because we don't want to be affiliated with music piracy, or any other form of piracy for that matter. A disclaimer will not save us from the wrath of lawyers :)

im just saying a new section
called
"music preferance"
and you can share songs you like or ask for some good techno songs, or good new cds, ect:thumbsup:

"Music Preference" sounds like ass

How about something like

Music Central or something like that, so that it is any type of music talk, not just preferences? Just an Idea so that its a more broadened title.
