Pretty awesome, especially when people can walk all around him and look under and behind and get right up close, broad daylight. That's as exposed and unstaged as it gets.

Chris Angel or David Blaine does a much better job levitating. This is old school levitating. I wonder what that cane if for?

likely got a horizontal part to the stick at the top, which he is sitting on. wrapped up under his clothes

I would say its probably to keep him steady in one place, if he were actually levitating then even a breeze could move him around.

Are you guys seriously believing this? Remove the cane and I'm a believer. He is sitting on a platform attached to the cane. You can even see it if you look closely in some parts

im sorry but WHAT CANE ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? his umbrella..???
and you csan clearly see it in 1:37 and 1:07 that it clearly moves locations, at 137 its off to his right, and at 107 its in his center while he is talking on the phone

my guess is there is a solid steel plate under the carpet, the cane actually has a rod in it welded to the plate, and then the seat. He's probably got a slit in the side of his pants so it is hidden and people could walk right up to it and possibly not spot it.

^ Neat. But it doesn't explain how the Dutch guy at the white house does it (the OP video), nor how Chriss Angel does it with golf clubs.

The Dutch guy has no sleeves, though it's possible there's a platform in his pants thats attached to the cane and he's sitting on it, and then the base, maybe it's under the carpet? If there was a platform in his pants, then NBCnews is in on the scam as it seems came down and he's standing for the interview.

Chriss Angel on the other hand is walking around then pulls two golf clubs out of a golf club bag and then suspends himself above the ground. First one club in each hand, then with just one one club in one hand, ending in a position similar to the white house guy.

I'm just throwing that out there :dunno:
