So, if you sold the leather, did you put the original interior back in... I hope?
That leather interior/door panels/consol/glove box are a miss-matched colour for that car!
Also, was this car originally an automatic?

I have the original interior/door panels/consol/glove box for the car, however the OEM civic never came with WOOD tirm. The consol was auto on the 1.7EL. And yes the seats are back on, if you want I can take out the wood too.......

its not WOOD

is PLASTIC

I'm also wondering if the car was originally an automatic transmission? Whats up with the gaping hole in the console?

why are parts of the dash navy blue/black and other parts beige?

Stock non-Vtec engine, new air filter, oil change every 3,000, No spare tire, no A/C, 5 spd manual. I get 5.2-5.5L/ 100km every time I fill up. I also keep the car in N when I go down hill etc.

The trick is to rev up to 4.5k in 2nd gear and go into 5th if you can or get into 5th as soon as you can.

Edit: I had a 2001 before this and it was auto, I was getting 35mpg at best. So if you got an auto, there's no way you'll get pass 40mpg. With manual 50 mpg is normal for me.

Also i keep the front tires at 37psi and the rear at 45 psi.

There are a lot of little things that help mpg, the major difference is still the engine size and taking care of your engine, I do a seaform every 20,000km
