I have heard the prescription drug Proscar contains finansteride and can help in hair loss and prevention.,Anyone use this or have opinions on it?

Yes, it's the same molecule as propecia...just a higher dose.

Many docs will write a script for Proscar and you can split the pills to get the lower dose.
