RECOVERED: Black Honda Civic SIR 00' coupe - slammed, black wheels

[88CRX]

Buddy had his car stolen this morning in Ingeelwood between 9am and 1pm.

Its a Black 99/00 Honda Civic SIR coupe.


-its pretty slammed.
-has Rota RNR wheels, black with red lip
-red honda badges (front and back)
-has a carbon fibre hood that has hail damage on it
-oem front lip and sideskirts
-has a rather large ricer cannister muffler (its loud)
-brand new paint job a couple months ago, very little rock chips

yeah i those we the set of rims that was stole....deng.....well 3 was recovered and the other was apparently wrecked and under repair. anyways.....too bad....hope you find your car......i bet it's out where jordan's car was sighted and retrieved from the thief....he learned his lesson.....chestermere area........

I went to the impound lot today after work to see it for myself. No pics cause it was too dark by the time I was done waiting in line. lol So first off my car is sitting on wood blocks, both of the front and rear quarter panels are totally wrecked. The wheels they tried to put on were too big so they rolled the fenders and bent them all to hell in the process. Plus the paint is all chipped and peeling around the edges of the fenders and I just had a brand new paint job for $5,000. The front grill has been ripped out from infront of the rad. The dash has been taken apart and they switched the plastic cover over the gauges while trying to hook up a radar detector. Removed my momo shifter and boot and replaced it with some piece of crap one. The interior is an absolute mess with garbage everywhere. Car smells like a two dollar hooker. lol And ya like I said it was dark and I couldn't really see the rest of the damage.

Question: If your car is just flat out stolen, do you need a special insurance to recieve anything? Or are you just left with notihng.

In this guys case, does he have to file a claim, and if he doesnt have any sort of insurance for it, will it just be treated like an accident, and his rates go up?
