How to find out what brand of starter in my car?

It's an 89 Accord, just got the car and noticed a remote start is installed, the previous owner didn't get a remote from the person she bought it from, Is there anywhere we can take it to and possibly order a new remote for it?

Check out the module and see if there's a brand name on it. That's pretty much the only way, unless you can see the name on the antenna. You should be able to find a remote.
