yes it will be nicer and cleaner. And we will be getting new menus, food will not change much and we have clarified the drink menu and added a few new drinks.

Beer anywhere = good. Just have to make sure you don't have lots of punk asses in there drinking beer. Need some more tv's too... and put hockey on.. like you usually do on the projector.

Actually alcohol might make it worse, you never know if random fights are gonna burst out cause some idiot did something stupid. Leave alcohol to the clubs, pubs, and those venues.

Also you should really do something to weed out the little kids... someone else mentioned they get eyed down when they enter, so do i!... its cuz im white isnt it! :whipped:

that happened when it was a smoking place
but since it turned non smoking ive noticed a lot of familys with the kids coming and other ethnic groups coming to eat wings and bbt too

i'd say no alcohol too
i think it would get too rowdy.

I hope these newly improvements will attract a classy and respectful and BALANCED co-ed crowd so the ladies don't get eye-rape as much as before. And no alcohol FTW. Families go there? What kind of hours does this place open? I tried going there once this past summer and it hadn't opened yet. I was slow to catch on to bubble tea and just started drinking more of it this past summer when my kid tried it. Got us hooked.

not sure when it opens but around 5 its pretty quite
and thats when i see the familys around
also any weekday its not too bad either
friday and saturday nights are super busy which is why i dont usually go then cause you're usually waiting in the little doorway for a table

my suggestion is an actual waiting area, instead of just by the door (or even outside!!)
slightly better lighting would be good!!

But definitely no booze!! It will just get too rowdy!! Just like someone said earlier... if you want booze, go to Ice. But then they are under renovation as well.

The WORST though, was the bad service. I've walked outta there getting harassed for leaving little to no tip simply due to bad service. And of course I end up looking like a cheap ass white guy because I didn't tip, which in reality is retarded. I tip very well if the service is acceptable.

About the debit/credit thing:

No. Unfortunately we will remain cash only for the time being. However, we are looking into adding credit card payment for the future. Right now, we've just got too much to deal with. Sorry guys.

As for wing prices, yes they are going up. Here's some of the reasons:

1. we don't make money on the wings.
2. ppl order more than they can eat and we often throw away more than we should. waste is bad for us/you/environment.
3. we don't enforce a 1 drink for every 10 wings house rule which alot of places do enforce. We have 1 minimum drink order and then u can order as many wings as u want/can eat for the special wing price.

Artega, I'm sorry you feel that way. We don't wanna lose your business, or anyone's for that matter. But we are a Bubbletea place first and foremost. Also, 30 cents isn't really ridiculous since there are plenty of places that charge $8 for just a dozen wings. Now that is ridiculous. ALSO, there will still be a couple days where wings will still be 25 cents :thumbsup:

1) Ever thought of charging for left over wings?
2) Maybe $5-10.person all you can eat, + charging for leftovers? (Like sushi all you can eat)
3) The best part about Bubblemania is that I can get a BBT, 20 wings, play Big2, awesome atmosphere. All for under $10.

PLEASE REOPEN SOON! I haven't had BBT in months. I can't stand Desert House anymore, and no where else is really open late (well Thai Thi I think)

My biggest pet pieve is the actual BBT, they insist on making shakes over slushes. The long lines, surly service and lack of a waiting area are just bonuses as well.

Edit: Parking sucks downtown around Desert House as well

the place looks more like a cafeteria than anything, defintly need more deco.. and I guess they were rushing to reopen because when we got there on Sat the place smelled like paint. The table was VERY wobbly and I had to fix it myself with two pieces of napkins.....
had a Mint chocolate milk tea, which tasted like a$$, can't believe the hot version cost more than the cold.
