Current Bank Promo for new accounts

Hey does anyone know what banks are offering promos for opening a new account?? I just want to start putting some money away in an account i wont have access to than physically going into the bank, that way i can save a bit more.

So i figured id check and see if you guys knew what banks have some promotions on. Tried browsing their sites but there wasnt anything i could find.

Canadian tire has pretty high interest... and $20 C.T. money for signing up with only $100 min. and then a couple of other exclusive coupons.

I signed up for $100 just for the $20, that's a 20% ROI, after 3 months (usually standard time to cancel account without penalty) I'll close the account, so that after a year or so if they have another promo, I can sign up as a new client again.

Basically you do this with ING (I got like $10 for $100 min. deposit), Canadian tire, TD, etc... etc...

I remember Etrade 6-8 years ago was giving $50 for every $1000 you put in ($1000 min. up to $50,000)
