Anybody know anything about these guys? Just got scouted by some chick, wondering if talking to these people is a waste of time or not... I tried googling and didn't find much info, otherwise I wouldn't have posted here.

so what's the "scheme"?

You approach people on the street and tell them they are model material and then try to get them to pay for modeling classes?

If they ask you to pay for your photos, that's one indication that you are being scammed.

If they try and stick a finger in you, it's another indication you're being scammed....

Numa Models is legit. It's not a scam. We've used them for promo staff before.

Yeah, I found their site and they say you don't need a portfolio or anything at first, the girl that scouted me took my phone number so when she calls me I'll check it out, seems legit. It's not the first time I've been scouted, last time was Mode models but I never bothered with it so I don't think I'm just some random whose money they want. :dunno:

Thanks for the info.

I think the biggest clue here it that they supposedly want your ugly mug to be a model. ;)

You don't have to be pretty to be a model. :D

I remembered one time I was eating my cereal and I saw myself in the spoon. I thought to myself 'Hey, I'm really ridiculously good looking. Maybe I should do that for a living. Be ridiculously good looking.'
