Why is there no warranty just because you won it in a draw?

Wouldn't the manufacturer's warranty apply?

lol yea, i meant extended warranty sorry but just the one year manufactures warranty applies to this tv

And you need a LOT of deal pixels for either manufacturers or 3rd party warranties to kick in. The warranties are useless for LCD's.

Well, I'm not sure if the salesguy was just feeding me BS but he said that with Sharp LCDs, they will do a panel replacement with 1 dead pixel as opposed to other manufacturers that require multiple. I'm trying to search for their warranty statement but haven't found it yet.

Supposedly with the FS PSP, they are required to follow the same coverage as the manufacturers.

I work at best buy..we do the 1 dead pixel for sharp. Best buy and futureshop are the same company.. we do also follow the manufacturers warranty, but if shapr tells us otherwise about the warranty and when ours can kick in, we follow that
