Between the bike and the LS400, it leaves me with nothing to bring out to secret street - so I'm keeping an eye out for half-finished project cars, or just something interesting to make fast.

Goals are a fast, dynamic car which I can take out for Auto-x, be competetive in the 1/4, and possible get me back into TSD rallying.

Does anyone else have any projects planned?

ive started on my 1988 Monte Carlo SS which is a totally different direction than the MR2 Turbo. i have a full 8 gallon 2 compressor air ride setup for it that has FBSS and see saw with a 10 switch box. just bought my wheels for it, im going gangster with some 14x7 100 spoke wire wheels chrome with burgandy nipples and burgandy bullet knockoffs. already started fabbing up my system which consists of a fully custom sub box for one L7 in the rear fender well to conform around the wheel well. but thats just to have something cool to roll out in spring. tons more i want to do, and if i can before spring i will, but the air ride, wheels and system are my priorities right now.

I don't have the time or the garage to build anything this winter...

...:(

...I'll be doing the same as Crymson, building up a belly and an appetite for summer.

new suspension and brakes (done in the next week or so) new fenders with side markers, hopefully somehow rims and new tires, and then hopefully lowering it. and regular maintenance such as fuel filter, oil change, all other fluids changed, fuel pump, new intake, full exhaust since mine is on the ontario highway somewhere and possibly freshen up the interior a bit.

I spend much less money in winter. Less in gas, no 'tire fund' for the bike, and I usually hibernate except while I'm at work.

Bumping this in spring would be a wicked idea, haha.

I was expecting a snappy comment, like "A reliable car" or some such thing.

So a former member jasonturbo and I have decided to start my civic from scratch again since we werent totally satisfied with our initial build and were looking to do something out of the ordinary and unique, hopefully making a hondatuning worthy article. Here are some plans for the car, as well as some pics of the initial teardown for paint. hopefully we will have the engine pulled today for engine shaving. I will hopefully have another update in lat nov or early dec when I both jason and I have time off of work

exterior:
99-00 ctr body conversion, painted in a Lexus IS300 dark grey metalic, CF hood for now, maybe hatch later on.

foot work:
Prob work meister SS1 wheels with red centers( though still undecided and looking for input) ITR 5 lug, and undecided coilovers, will rock the tein's till I decide

interior:
shaved hatch area painted same as body, red 6 pt cage, charcoal grey dash and door panels out of a dx, deleted airbag, and heater box to hide the fusebox and battery from engine bay, ctr nonsrs wheel, ctr red carpet, undecided on seats as of now and looking for input, red recarro's(which i think might be overplayed) with red suede headliner and door inserts, or bride seats with bride headliners and door inserts. getting rid of all nonessentials to save weight such at insulation sound deadening etc.

engine bay:
H2B sway with itr tranny, built high compression n/a H22 with hopefully itb's to clean up the engine bay with no intake, move the battery and fusebox to the glove box, remove all heater lines, remove all washer sprayer and powersteering parts to shave and unclutter the enginebay

With our busy work scheduals we hope to have this completed sometime in the summer ( fingers crossed). There is no real budget at this point, and I probably wont have one since it will just make me sad to look at it, though it might no be to bad since the only work that we will not do is the exterior paint, and head machining as well we have a decent line on parts. By the way if you see anything you like in the pics it is all for sale.
