he is the 5th owner of the car and the tires are toast and been into 2 accidents 1 is with me and 2nd is from previous owner before me... btw im the previous owner of that car and i sold it to my friend and then he bought it from my friend....

Well if thats the case... $1600 is way too much to be asking.
I wouldn't even pay more than $800 for this car.
Cost of new tires alone would be around $500, $800 for a set of all seasons or winters.
