Laser Therapy

Has anyone tried laser therapy for a sports or any related injury? Any pros and cons that they found with it, and I know it’s based on the extent of the injury but how many treatments they had to go in for and type of injury?

I had laser therapy on my knee years ago, along with tens machine therapy. It saved me from surgery. How many treatments..for the first little while I was going every few days, then down to once a week, and it dwindled down to once a month to no longer needing it. That was 16 years ago...I have hardly had a problem with that knee ever again.
