my windshield washer reservoir is leaking. i heard from a coworker you can get some stuff that you just pour into the reservoir that will coat the interior so it won't leak?

he couldn't remember the name of the stuff, does anyone on here know?

Remove it (if required) and caulk it?

What kind of car is it for?

As far as I know, there is nothing you can put into your reservoir to stop the leak. You can easily remove it and see what is leaking (usually a crack or a loose hose) and replace it cheaply

you must be thinking of the stop leak stuff for a radiator

Don't put that junk it for a res bottle leak.. Take it out (simple) and let it dry and then get something proper to seal it.. I don't remember the name but there is something that will work well, ask an auto parts store.. Or just get a used one...

Since you're removing it, it makes sense just to replace it is it not? Cheap alternative-junkyard or buy a new one.
