Goes to show that even with all that safty precations and roll bars stuff can still go wrong. Very tragic, and sad!

well that shatters alot of illusions. You really can feel indistructible in the safty of the cage.

The roll cage really had a different effect on their deaths. it was neck, head, and chest injuries from getting smashed around in the car. the cage worked too well. there was not enough give for the situation.

is anyone (mostly subie owners) i dont know if you've been on the subaru forums (i-club or nasioc) going to buy the tribute stickers to stick on your guys cars? right now i believe they're just picking a design, the designs they got are pretty good. nothing to flashy but just good enough for the right mood.

heres link just incase you guys didnt know about it.

The cage did its best try
Unfortunately a sideways impact at 80-120 MPH into an immovable object will kill you every time.

The car hit sideways at the drivers door into a 3 foot diameter tree. The impact was hard enough that the car rebounded backwards from the tree onto its side on the opposite ditch.

A huge loss for our community.
