Shortly after 2:30 PM today, the Calgary Police Service
responded to the 4800 Block of 29 Avenue SW where a small
explosion occured to a mailbox of a residence in that locale.


The exact cause is unknown but believed to be the act of
younger teens improvising with a chemical compound. The Arson
Unit is assisting in this investigation and will be
attempting to determine what exactly was utilized in this
improvised device.

IF thats arson aka explosion then HOLY SH!**T but i think that the photos are from vehicular impact.

There's charring on the door of the newspaper box, amongst other things, suggesting that this isn't just a pressure explosion, but a firey one too.
