So the pricing is in on both the 128i and 135i, close to what i was expecting for the prices. I would probably spring the less than $5k us though for the 335i instead of the 135i.

Well, BMW has announced formal base pricing for the 1-series at Los Angeles, removing all doubt. The 128i coupe, with a 3.0-liter, 230 horsepower I6, starts at $29,375, while the 135i, with the twin-turbo, 300-horsepower six, clocks in at $35,600. This is being brought to you mere minutes after the announcement, and there is no official press release yet, so stay tuned and we'll keep you updated

YAY so it will be 41,000 and 49,000 canadian, with a 2,000$ incentive as well as a big bottle of lube when you have to bend over at the canadian dealership.

Ah, yes, I can't say I'm that surprised.

It would have been strangely elegant to price Year 1 of the 1 at 28k for the 128i and 35k for the 135i.. close though.

If you think it's going to be cheap, you're dreaming.

Think about it as a lighter, faster car for $5K less and you have no problem paying for it.

I'd love to go take a look at one of these....... for a few reasons.

They had better not rape Canadians with the pricing. Then again, Canada is probably such a small market compared to the US that we don't really have a choice.

haha, get the lube ready.

Mitsu dealer just told me that the Evo X MR premium I just ordered is likely going to be $55K. Canada gets screwed by all manufacturers.
