Does anyone know what a reasonable price to buy a 89 240 w/out a motor would be. OK condition, minor damage, and auto tranny.

auto, damage, no engine. well maybe maybe maybe 1000 at the very very peak. But dont even bother man. find one that is a standard with a motor. sure you will pay more initially, but you'll be a lot happier.

I already have a 5spd 240 but I want a project one, with a blown motor for an sr swap.

i saw one that went for 1100 with no motor , but they should be worth around 500 bucks

i find 240 rust out really bad as they age
i recommend a later model say 92
the 16v ka is easier to swap to sr then a 12v ka
so to p/s rack plumbing issues
and air con...

I wish you luck, with you and about 10000000 other people probabley trying to find the same thing you are. There was a sweet one I was going to buy yesterday a 91 240 coupe black LE fully loaded with some front driver fender damage for 1900. Looked at it at 10:30 phoned back at around 11:30 at it was sold:( I have enought parts at my house to build a whole other 240. The search continues. I really want a HB this time round.

The reason i'm asking is cause I know someone with one who needs to get rid of it. But either way I'm buying it tomorrow for $850.Best they'd take. Now I just need a spot to park it.
BTW: Orrin do you have a passenger side fender sitting around for sale and if so what colour.

Nope, you can get new ones for like 150-250 though.

yep, I'll see now that I work for nissan maybe I can get them pretty cheap.
