Anybody have any recommendations on where to go for windshield chip repairs?

Preferably somewhere in the NE but willing to go further for quality work. Mobile repairs would be fine as well.

Wanted to originally go with Glass solutions Ltd. but apparently they've been sold to Speedy Glass. I've done a search on beyond already but didn't find any recent posts.

Superb work at M&M Auto Glass on 16th, just a little past centre. Ask for Ming, pay him in "cash".. :)

Last time I went to the states, I bought myself a DIY chip repair kit ($10 at Walmart or Target). Works fantastic and easy!!! Repairs 2-3 chips per kit.

do you think it holds up as well as glass-shop repair when it comes to preventing cracks?

Ferio: $20.

Horatio: I am confident it does. It's basically the same stuff: liquid resin. I did a repair on my car, and it looks just as good, if not better than going to someone else. Just from looks alone, I can tell that it has completely filled in the chip and bonded properly to the glass. That's about as much as anyone can do, I figure (heck the last chip I had repaired by a pro grew anyways).

I went to Window Surgeons earlier this week and did 3 big chips.

$29.95 for the first and $10 for any after that.

Great service and did a great job

I think they have a shop in the NE as well. I went to the South one just off Mcleod

Crackmasters or Windshield Surgeons. Only two I'd ever take my car to.
