Full specs can be found here..

http://www.hdtvsolutions.com/Samsung-HP-S4233.htm

TV is in perfect condition, only reason I'm selling is I would like something bigger as the Call Of Duty 4 enemy are too small in the distance. :) (yes i'm serious)

So asking price is $1050.00obo with the feet (stand).. I'm keeping the wall mount I have for the new TV but I do have all the original packaging to transport with.. Delivery is available on payment or come see the TV hooked up and working.

I'm in the NW please feel free to PM me if you're interested..

You're not going to get a 1080p of any quality though for 1200.00.. Samsung makes one of the best plasmas on the market..

I paid $2100.00 with shipping & wall mount.

Hey bud,

I actually just bought a 1080 Samsung 42" HDTV 2 days ago for $1299 and it included a $300 stand.

Great T.V's, might wanna lower the price.

GOOD SELLER! Done business with him..

I'm just looking at what you can buy a 42" Samsung Plasma for now.. which is approx 1400.00.. You can't buy this one at Future Shop now for 999.00 so I don't see how that's relevant..

In ANY case.. keep those offers coming!! Thanks guys! I'll work something out for one lucky person..

except for the Sony Bravia V2500 40" 1080p I got for $1200... but it is an LCD.

EDIT:

I also bought mine with COD4 in mind... do you play on PC or console? I bought 25 feet worth of DVI and have mine hooked up to my PC.

I play on console but wanted to try the PC version as I heard if you have enough power, the graphics blow away the console version..

My buddy will give you $700 delivered without stand or mount. Let me know. Does it have any burn in at all? And how many hours have you ran it for in the 1st year....since it has no warr. left.

So do Plasmas get burn in still? I would like this for playing 360 games.

$725.00

modded46

Plasma does not have any burn in whatsoever.. the plasma gases themselves are constantly changing and hence this is not an issue..

Also the TV has full screen saver mode as well as game mode!!! Which speeds up the gaming process so there is no delay whatsoever..

Enhanced Game Mode
The new Game Mode optimizes picture and sound parameters for the special needs of gaming systems at the touch of a button. Dark areas are enhanced, edges sharpened, image-processing speed maximized, and audio specially processed for greater impact. This new Game Mode has been tested and proven by Microsoft engineers who know how games should look and sound on television.

725.00 is still quite a bit lower than I wanted to get for it.. but keep the offers coming and I'm sure something will get worked out..

high end 42" plasma in perfect condition that has very minimal use.. approx 700-800 hours of total time in the past year..

Something I just found out.. Samsung has a 2 year warranty on their plasma screens.. so there is warranty left on this device.. another reason why Samsung is the best when it comes to plasma screens!!!

I picked up a 19" LCD last night. Going to try that first and then possibly get a 26 or 32" LCD (which are available for less the $725).

BTW: I have a 50" Sammy for a main set and the game mode does nothing as far as I can tell. Pure marketing IMO.

So I think that drops the bidding to $700 again.

So everyone is saying I can get this TV for this price.. etc.. etc.. I'm showing you actual numbers of what the same brand and features would cost you if you walked into a store today..

Hence why 1100.00 is a VERY good deal delivered with NO TAX and still under warranty.

I was thinking of offering ~$750 but it seems you've already turned down similar.

I am interested in this tv, but I dont get how you justify $1100 to be a good deal.

You bought it, used it for a year, used up half the warrentee, and are trying to sell it for 80% of what it costs to purchase brand new.

Secondly, those prices you are quoting for the tvs online are not accurate. I've been looking at tvs recently, and the online prices from what I've seen are almost always higher than the in store deals as they are behind price updates by a week or something. For example, your FS link has dropped by 300 now, and your BB link has dropped by 100.

Personally I think $700 is a fair offer since you can get new 07 models for $1200-1300 now. Dont forget OP your unit is a year old, sure its mint...but a year is still a year and prices will drop even more through the new year.

You might want to just keep it since I think youll take too much of a loss. I personally would.

yes you can get new 40" or 42" flat panel monitors for 1200 or 1300 but not of this quality and everyone keeps posting numbers without any sources.. everytime I look at the price of a 42" Samsung Plasma you're looking at no less than 1499.00.. I don't expect to take a loss and you're right if I can't get what I want for it then I'm not going to sell it. i don't NEED a new TV but with that being said if someone wants an absolutely amazing plasma you're not going to find one of this quality and size for the same money anywhere..

And now for facts about Plasma burn in.. Not just your opinion...

Misconception #8: Plasma TVs are plagued by problems with burn-in.

Burn-in, or image retention, is the result of a damaged pixel, whose phosphors have been prematurely aged and therefore glow less intensely than those of surrounding pixels. The reason is that the damaged pixel has developed a "memory" of the color information that was repeatedly fed to it, causing it to glow in a static manner for a sustained period of time. This phosphor color information can actually become seared or etched into the plasma-screen glass, and in some rare cases it can become permanent. Once these phosphors are damaged, they cannot produce the same levels of light output as the other phosphors around them do. But pixels do not suffer burn-in singly. Burn-in occurs in the shape of a static image that linger on TV screens -- things like network logos, computer icons, Internet browser frames, etc.

In like manner to advancements that created the 60,000 hour life span, there are similar improvements in burn-in prevention. One improvement is the green phosphors which last longer and are more resilient to burn in issues. Another more prevelant prevention method is the advanced image placements (also called Wobbling) systems which unnoticeably constantly moves the picture ever so slightly.

In addtion to prevent phosphor image retention and burn in the following features of some plasma televisions also in inhibit uneven phosphor aging:

White Scrolling Bars: White bars move across the screen from left to right at regular intervals
Screen Reversal: Displays images with the black and white reversed. Good for text/computer displays.
Side Panel Adjustment: Lightens the black bars on the sides of the screen when displaying images in the 4:3 format.
Wobbling: Shifts the image's position by several pixels at fixed time intervals.
Peak Limit Mode: Lowers the peak brightness level (image contrast) by 30%.

Someone would almost have to be trying to burn in a plasma TV (at least the best brands) to do so.

In the end, plasma TV burn-in is not an issue that should cause undue concern in the average user. With a modicum of caution, most plasma TVs will probably never have a problem with image retention. A viewer may experience temporary ghosting, but this is certainly not cause for alarm. In truth, carelessness -- i.e., not paying attention to what your TV is displaying and for how long -- is really the leading "cause" of permanent burn-in.

Just a suggestion.. but if you want to actually sound like an intelligent salesman, unlike the 90% of people working at futureshop then this is an excellent web site with a LOT of factual information.

Umm I was refering to 07 Samsungs. Samsungs are good but they arent high end like you say (theyre high end in LCD but not plasma), when compared to say Panasonic Vierras. Leons has 07 model Sammy 42'' for $1300 right now with $100 in store coupon bringing it to $1200. Im not trying to crap your thread but im just saying that you are getting tons of generous offers - you would be crazy not to take up on $850, or even $800.
