this came up on another board
wich one is better so i did a comparison

between the ACT and OEM release bearing

they both are nsk bearings

side by side the oem bearing is quite a bit beefier

OEM bearing weighs in at 295.9 grams

ACT bearing weighs in at 213.1 grams

the ACT uses a plastic ring + clips to hold the fork clip in place and then gets a 1/4" narrower

the OEM uses a steel clip to hold the fork clip in place has no collar insted it is soild

the overall feel of the OEM bearing is better, smoother and more solid

i will put up pics shortly

side by side

i figured it's a good tidbit of info

yah man OEM is way better. ACT actually stopped offering release bearings with their kits to reduce costs.. again Toyota oem gets the point!.

Go OEM.
There is truly no better.
Even compared to ORC, still go with OEM.
You can't beat it.

My clutchmasters FX300 release bearing looked decent so I threw it on, I hope I don't regret it.

Hopefully, I don't get it.

I was getting clutch squeak before I changed out the clutch. Not too sure what causes it but I think it could be the ball that the clutch fork pivots on. I cleaned and greased that up.
