It would be the tin sheet metal cover I need. It sits behind the flywheel. I am missing this piece after my engine got rebuilt.

Need it for a 3S-GTE engine. On mine, the starter mounts closest to exhaust manifold as I think some other models the starter is flipped to the otherside.

If need be, I could just borrow someone's and make a copy if they have it handy. It's not a easily accessible piece as the flywheel has to come off to get at it.

Thanks... this MCS motor build better be good for all the parts that are missing!!

Oh man that sucks. The more I read your threads the happier I am that I held onto my motor while they build the new one.

I too hope there motors are were the hassle.

Stevo, I think there might be some variations on starter location. Don't worry about it. I think I have someone on mr2oc.com who has one to send me.

My next issue is breaking those ARP flywheel studs that I just threadlocked 2 weeks ago.

Is there a better socket to get those ARP flywheel bolts out? I was using a 6-point socket to tighten them.
