Futureshop the 16gb version is still $399 until Nov 29.

Otherwise BB is $429 for the 16gb (reg price).

All the better, go to Bestbuy, show them the FS website and then they must meet the price and then beat it by an additional 10%, it's only $3, but hey it's $3...

off topic but who here has bought an ipod touch and is happy with it? is it worth the money??

Yah, i think it's great. Unless you're coming from a large capacity ipod, then it would be annoying to have only 8 or 16 gigs to work with.

I think it's worth the money. The wifi is super handy at times.

10% of 300 bucks is $30, not $3

with bestbuys' guarantee it is 10% of the difference...not 10% of the total. So it would be 10% of $30 giving you 3$.

Do you mean what is WiFi or how does it work on the ipod? It'll find open wifi networks and connect to them, allowing you to browse the internet. Handy when you're downtown, or travelling.

Where in Calgary is this available?

^^Coffee shops (most if not all Starbucks I think). It's awesome for me, because on campus there is blanket coverage.

If anyone plans on getting one, I would recommend buying the Invisible Shield protector for it as well (google it) - it's basically 3M rock chip for your iPod & works great at preventing the ugly surface scratches that the shiny back would inevitably accumulate otherwise, and you don't have to hide the nice lines of your cool new iPod in some ugly case.

I have pretty good faith in the scratch proof claim, and a scratched up back, is the badge of honour for a well travelled ipod!

Yeah the glass front is great, but I was referring to the shiny polished aluminum back, which gets scratched to shit without any protection.

^^I didn't bother looking around town and just bought it online.

Like I said, it isn't the glass screen that I was worried about, it was the metal back, which looks gorgeous when you first get it, but if you leave it unprotected it gets full of scratches within a week and looks pretty ugly.

If I took transit more often, I would not hesitate at all to buy one. Great entertainment device!

Does this have a built in FM Tuner for the days that I am bored of my music?
