I went to check out a quad here in Calgary. It's a yamaha 700 grizzly atv. The dealer wanted upwards of 10k for it with the accessories and tax.
I checked in the U.S. and found several U.S. dealers selling them for SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS tax in! Unbelievable.
So I called the dealer and he has no problem getting them up to Montana, where I could pick them up. After a bit of negotiating, I got him down to 6400 shipped to MT.
Now, the issue is whether I need to go through RIV to import an ATV. Does anyone know how this is done? What needs to be done in order to successfully import an ATV into Canada?
