IPHONE unlock V. 1.1.2?

Just picked up my Iphone today. The only problem is that i can't find any good unlocks for the new upgraded version 1.1.2. ?

anyone have any suggestions>

My iPhone is running 1.1.2 at this point... unlocked, jailbroken, and activated...

return it or hold on to it, its up to you... if you bought it brand new in arizona today, then you can't do much with it yet because of the new bootloader in the 'out of the box' 1.1.2 phones, no one has figured out the activation on it yet... but that will change soon as it always does...

so should i return the thing, im guessing there will be something out here in the next couple weeks. i'll let you take a look tomorrow, i can't tell if it is a 'out of the box' 1.1.2. when i go into Itunes, it asks me if i wanna upgrade to 1.1.2. Would it say on the box, or under info on itunes.

if its asking you to update to 1.1.2, then its probably a 1.1.1, which is no problem to work with =)

whats the 4th and 5th digit in the serial #?

your iPhone is a week 36, you got lucky... everything past week 45 has the new bootloader... you are good to go, i can take care of it for you...

don't need another phone, but if you can grab me an Apple Bluetooth headset for the iPhone, that'd be great... =)

so when i open ITUNEs, it won't tell me what version or ANYTHING. just tells me when i hold down the power button and just comes up saying. update is to version 1.1.2...HUMMM

Nothing set in stone yet, its all hearsay right now, but the only 2 providers that can utilize it here in Canada are Rogers and Fido... and since Rogers owns Fido, bets are that it'll be on Rogers...

but there are still things to work out, like the fact that Rogers customers on the iPhone will get raped on data charges if they don't go unlimited data like AT&T in the states, because the iPhone is way more useful with the data plan... Canadian cell phone plans are such a ripoff compared to the rest of the world... :bullshit:

are there any advantages of having it with the new firmeware? mine came with the new software but when i unlocked it , it was downgraded

I cant remember, is the serial number right on the outside of the box? Could i go to an apple store and look to see if its v 1.1.1 by that serial number before buying?

the new firmware allows custom ringtones without having to use annoying workarounds... it is also noticabely faster through the UI and in general because there were supposedly some CPU tweaks done... plus its always fun for me to be at the latest and greatest especially when its a challenge... 'because i can...'

4th and 5th number on the serial are the week it was made... you want a week 44 and under... week 45 is the new firmware and bootloader...
