can't import a write off car IIRC, or atleast you can't insure it. i ran into that hassle with RIV when i had to explain that i wanted to bring in a car that had no motor (still active title), they kept telling me that written off cars can't come to canada.

edit:

to clarify, even if the car has a repair status, it can't be brought in. this one sounds like it got a salvage title from a simple theft, and was repaired. good parts car for anyone with an EG that wants leather.

the status according to the registar of imported vehicle is 'can only be used as parts' for some stupid reason even though the car runs perfect ive driven it from sf to here and to vancouver and back twice..

OP: If you can't register this car in Canada, I think you'll have supreme difficulty selling it whole in Canada. If you have the room, I *highly* suggest parting it out, or selling it to someone in the US instead....

defenitly possible, i was thinkin of getting some other crappy integra vin number and registering it under that vin..might do that if i dont sell it in a while
