hi, anyone have a spare harddrive for thinkpad X40?

Should be a standard laptop hard drive, go to memory express, theyre pretty cheap.

I mean the primary Harddrive for the thinkpad X40. The harddrive is smaller than the standard laptop HD and the pins are on the long side instead of the short side. (the standard HD has the pins on the short side instead of the long side, hope it make sense heheh)

You're talking about the 1.8incher HDD.
A little less common, but I'm sure MemEx has them...if not, you can try NCIX, DirectCanada, or CanadaComputers.

Thanks for the link but I can only see 2.5" drives in memory express. I am seaching the other online store too. maybe i can get lucky :)

The X40 is definitely a 1.8" not 2.5". Those MemEx ones won't work.
