Hey guys ok my comp has had its worst and now is all messed up.
I got a quote from someone who will build me a computer.

>AMD ATHLON 2400+
>Gigabyte Motherboard, 400FSB, AGP 8X, 6-channel sound capability
>512MB DDR, 333Mhz BUS
>17" Mid-Tower Case, Front USB and Audio connections
>ATI RADEON 7000, DDR, DVI, TV Out Video Card
>
> Cost:
>$611.85 (INCLUDES GST, delivery and installation)

From my old computer he said he can re use some of the parts: CD RW, 3 1/2 Floppy, Modem, HardDrive.

Is this worth it?

That seems to be an extremely respectable price.

The parts add up to $520 (GST included) if you get them at MemoryExpress (that's assuming that he's using your current power supply, which could be a bad idea depending on what your computer is).

I just talked to my friend, he said that for $600 he can get you the exact same setup but with a faster processor (2500+ instead of 2400+).

PM me if you're intersted.
