Hey,

Has anyone taken FNCE 317 at UofC? What are those labs for? Because it is always on Mondays and last for hours.... Any heads up on what it is all about?

I skipped all the labs except when there were exams during it. They're not necessary to go to unless you need help with some of the material.

Did you have bi-weekly quizzes or stuff of some sort?

When I took it, the prof always assign a few questions at the end of every lecture. You're supposed to do those, then show up at the labs and the TA will go over the answers as a group.

the lab shows you a couple different ways of doing the questions, i suppose they are useful but i ended up skipping most of them due to length, and that they were taught by a really chinese math/econ phd?
